Rob Symeonn and Michael Palmer are already here and they will be performing with Good Over Evil Sound and will be streaming to your home.\n\n\n\nOnline event will feature words by the honorable Marcus Garvey\, live performance by Michael Palmer\, Rob Symeonn\, Link N Chain plus words by a special guest!\n\nAbout Marcus\n\nMarcus Mosiah Garvey was born Aug. 17\, 1887\, in St. Ann’s Bay\, Jamaica\, and established the Universal Negro Improvement Association and African Communities League (UNIA-ACL) in 1914 in his home country before moving the headquarters to New York. \nIn 1923\, Garvey was convicted of mail fraud in connection to the Black Star Line program he established as a pathway to economic equality for Black people. Garvey was imprisoned and later deported\, and his surging movement in America was stalled as he never again returned to the states.
