Festival Del Mar

The second annual San Elijo Hills Festival Del Mar returns to the infield of the Del Mar Racetrack on Saturday, September 23rd and Sunday, September 24th with an unparalled mix of live music, fine art, and food. The second annual event takes place from 11am to 8pm each day and features George Thorogood and the Destroyers and Cake as the 2006 headliners. This year's Festival will once again feature a diverse musical line-up on four stages covering Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, Reggae, Blues, Jazz, Hawaiian and more.
Sunday's event (Sept 24th) will be headlined by one of Southern California's favorite bands, Cake, with supporting performances by Dilated Peoples, moe., ALO (Animal Liberation Orchestra.
With a great line-up of Reggae music including:
- Israel Vibration (The legendary trio)
- Don Carlos (originally of Black Uhuru)
- Mad Professor
- Leon Mobley and Da Lion (from the Ben Harper band)
- And local favorites, Elijah Emmanuel and the Revelations.
