Powerfully expressive dancers, and a riveting musical score of African and Western rhythms, produce a potent performance. Inspired as a response to the Rwandan genocide, Germaine Acogny, artistic director of Compagnie Jant-Bi, and Japanese butoh choreographer, Kota Yamazaki, create the seemingly impossible. They shine light on one of the most horrific crimes in recent memory and, through art, illuminate our humanity.

"The eight Senegalese men dance with a mind-blowing intensity."
- Merilyn Jackson, PHOENIX NEW TIMES
